I said it was crazy at the start. To even attempt this meant that he could not possibly have foreseen how difficult it is.

Something like this could cause permanent, physical damage. I sincerely hope not and continue to wish him all the best.

 

Lets hope he makes it to St Marys. He'll get a massive reception.

 

If timed for a matchday, yes. I wouldn't rely on fans turning out otherwise. I hope he can continue...for his own sake as he will be beyond upset if he can't.

 

Even though I'm not going to the game I think I will go down and greet him there!

 

The club should arrange a bucket collection on the day.

Wow, video really hits home how difficult this is. He is insane. This needs to much more backing!!!

 

I decided to forgo a couple of beers I was going to have tonight and stick the money I would have spent towards Franny's total, I gave some money last week as well, but seeing him suffering like that really moved me. Come on everone, give what you can!

 

Indeed. He's making an effort that most of us could't even imagine making, let alone actually doing anything like it. I'll be donating again.

 

What should happen is that every premiership player should donate a week of their fat salaries to his cause. Some chance of that happening - not...
