Thought we had a good chance at Old Trafford because of pressure out of the gate on ManU
Now we have a game at Stamford bridge . ! Chelsea is 3 and 0.... 2 wins against promoted teams and a win against Everton where Chelsea let 3 goals in . A European game mid week ....Got a good feeling about them taking us lightly and looking ahead to the game agains Schalke04. A shock win against Chelsea on the road would be incredible .Nothing to lose for us , a devastating loss for Chelsea if it happens

We won 0-2 at Stamford Bridge in the League Cup. We know it can be done. Should be interesting, but expecting to lose.

9 players out and 6 players in for Chelsea , bigger egos involved in new players coming in, as compared to us . A lot of pluses for us in an assuming game for Chelsea... could be the old "Chiquita Banana " game for the men in blue.A win here was almost unimaginable before the season started for me .. now I' m thinking 50 - 50 , because of the way the season has unfolded for both teams imo.

I can't even begin to guess what the final result will be, it could go so many ways. But Chelsea will be worried about Siggy and defence splitting through balls being met by the pace of Routs and Dyer, or the brute strength of Bony.

I'm expecting to be brought down to earth with a bump. I still have about 25% of me feeling like we can do one on them though :)

This is going to be our first acid test. At the end of the season we may look back at the United, Burnley and WBA matches and yawn ... in other words teams we could expect to take points from. Nonetheless, a maximum return from the teams against regardless of whether they are good, bad or indifferent is terrific.

Chelsea .... different set of balls entirely. We should be confident of going there and being competitive. If we play to our core strengths throughout, let our flair express itself, and don't suffer any dozy spells as in Burnley second half, then we could easily get a result. If we leave with a narrow defeat and we've been competitive throughout then no big deal - it is what it is, move on to the next game. A draw or better yet a win and we solidify our position at the top of the league and we make a clear statement to ourselves and everybody else that we're not here to **** around. A big defeat then we run the risk of second guessing the first three results - the pundits no doubt will.

I think a big defeat is doubtful - although after seeing Chelsea beat Everton anything is possible.

Eagerly looking forward to this match.

The bigger the team the less pressure will be on us, We have to play like mark Hugh's stoke did against Man city and concentrate on players bodies defending well and hope we can get a breakaway goal, If we try and match them by taking the game to them then we will be out classed by their superior players and dont think for one minute they dont have better players than us because they obviously do. Can we win ? of course we can with a good game plan and good discipline ..

After watching the Everton game, as good as Chelsea are going forward I dont see why we cant score against them. Not saying we are going to win but definitely feel like we can get something out of this game just need to keep it tight at the back. Would like to see Fernandez in for this game.

Will Monk set the team up to play to their strengths though or will he be targeting a park the bus type approach. We can certainly play on the break but do we want to invite Chelsea on to us or actually take it to them and try and play with possession? A very interesting game.

An intriguing encounter on the horizon. with first and second pitting their early season wits against each other.

Most neutrals,I suspect, will anticipate Chelsea giving us a walloping, and thereby putting the Welsh upstarts in their place.

    Hopefully,they will be a tad complacent,playing at home,etc.

    "It's a funny old game though",innit?

    David's quite often topple Goliath's.

Let's hope Monk is aware of the fable, and gets his team geared up for the tussle ahead.

We won there a few season's ago, albeit in the Cup many people deride,so fingers crossed for a repeat performance.

Chelsea have looked like being in a different league to the rest of the prem but if we start Fernadez and maybe Montero I think we can give a good account of ourselves and maybe even get a draw or a win especially if their thoughts are on Europe.
