Some of you are paranoid. BBC report mentions Swansea but doesn't mention who Aguero plays for. So are BBC biased against Man City? You don't need to mention every team every time. Some of you are picking just the reports that don't mention Swansea when many do. Try to add some balance.

If it's "balance" you are looking for, then better look elsewhere. There's precious little in evidence hereabouts. Any attempt to introduce "balance" is met with a fusillade of insults and abuse.

I agree...but plastic is one of the biggest culprits of doing just that. The hypocrisy and irony is inescapable.

He scored twice - one was an own goal.

Somehow people find a way to argue about every post.

Great performance, a deflection that couldnt be helped but I loved how close he kept his arms in to avoid giving away a penalty. It was mentioned afterwards that if he was in the Team for the whole of the Final Argentina might have nicked it, way better than the guy who is on his way to Man Utd ( not Di Maria the other one ).

<ok> Why, thank you Lib. Sometimes when you see them putting their silly little heads above the parapet you just have to pull the trigger.

The BBC doesn't show him as scoring on own goal. Looks like a German player claimed it.

Who doesn't score a lot of goals? Not sure who you're referring to.

So asking for some balance is putting your head above the parapet? How very odd. Or maybe you're just looking for any little thing to try to score points. If it works for you, then go for it. I'm happy to take the flak as long as it makes you feel better.

...and it does, so thanks for providing the service. :)

You were not asking for 'balance' when you were accusing those who pointed out some facts about our recent games as "not supporting the Club" yet now you say some of our posters are "paranoid".

Like I said, the hypocrisy isn't lost on most regulars here.

I have never been against balance. What I was against was they way some, including you, seemed to be putting a negative slant on every match we won. I think we all agree that we need to (and can) improve in many areas. But most expressed it in a positive way, unlike you. You seem to delight in trying to portray that the only reason we've won is because we played teams in disarray, weak teams, etc.

Here we go again....<doh> Every time you come up with this rubbish I have to rip you a new one but you keep coming back for more despite Valley, Terror and Swanselona putting you right so this'll be my last word on the subject:

"But most expressed it in a positive way, unlike you" WRONG - I have been positive - repeatedly - even posting threads on the subject.

"the only reason we've won..." WRONG - those reasons were NOT the only reason we won - and I never said so.

"we played teams in disarray, weak teams" WRONG - I said that all the teams we'd played had flaws and I stand by that. This isn't opinion, it's fact.

I've also said you can't criticise people for being inherently more cautious if that's their nature. You can criticise people for not giving credit where it's due and I definitely don't fall into that category. Hope we're clear. <ok>
