At least the hooligans were trying to do what they set out to, which was be hooligans. The Feds were meant to keep order, but essentially made it worse. Or, alternatively, if the Feds had actually done their jobs, there would've been no hooligans. Their ineptitude made things worse. Simples.
But as someone said above, the hooligans' job is to chuck stuff, which they did with admirable efficiency, but the police's job is to do something about it, which they didn't.
So, if the hooligans had done as they did, bottled you and left a lot of people bleeding, but then the police had charged them and given them a kicking, you'd have voted for one of the other options?

Well I was split between Eurotiger and the Ovidiu Hategan both pissed me off. But I finally went for Ovidiu Hategan as Eurotiger purposely went to piss people off and succeeded, so Ovidiu Hategan is a **** as he is the worst ref I have seen since Harry Fish who sometime officiated games I played in, in the Sunday league, and he was a **** also.
Voted for euro tiger, a little disappointed that mr hat wasn't on the poll after his thread on Bruce.
I was going to vote for him but think HullCityAFC deserves it more. How did you manage to pick one over the other?

Well that was my point, Ricardo. I appreciate that, from all accounts, the Belgian federali didn't help matters but it's not like they were throwing the bottles. Someone that was hit by a bottle blaming the police over the person throwing the bottle seems to seeing things arse-about-face. The person who said they were hit on the knee by a baton whilst helping up an old lady - fair enough. As I wasn't in Lokeren, I'll leave my perspective there.
I think anyone who is a poster on here and wins should have as there sig for the following month. I voted Belgium Fed...Although they're unlikely to have Not 606 account.
