not a mark from me, just a comment: he has to prove he can cut the mustard, not only to us fans, but to himself and to NW who put his trust in him. I am hoping that with a good pre-season training under his belt, he will prove the doubters wrong. Sometimes a striker just needs a goal or two to go on a decent scoring run and if his goals are against cfc then I doubt he will take much stick!!
5. The man's a jinx... he's even got the normally correct Willy spelling plaeyr the way it sums Hulse up! Rabbit in the headlights and way out of his depth even at Championship level these days imo. Nicked this from my reply on the Millwall snub thread (I note Hulse's agent was careful not to burn bridges with Millwall !). 36 prem games to his name (Baggies and Blades): 8 goals in all... And that's it, he's been a second grade 1 in 4 man all his life. What're the chances of turning that round anytime soon? I know some will think me unrealistic, but for the money they're on, any striker who can't hit 1 in 2 is either pretty poor himself or playing for a **** team. One of Warnock's more mindless allegiances imo (both at Sheff Utd and here).
A super-generous 4. If HH can turn it around in 12months then I hope Hulse can do the same. ...But I am a dreamer.
Think with Helguson who's a very similar player, we may need a more dynamic player along side. Can see him as a squad player though.
Complete liability! Could you imagine bringing him on 10 minutes from the end of the game at Old Trafford needing an equaliser? I don't think so!
I gave him a 1. I reckon we'll be pleasantly surprised as we have been with HH last season. Have faith fellow Hoopsters
You'll be surprised at the NW loyalty to his ex-players and I believe (hope) that once he finds his lucky boots, Hulse will repay the faith
