I should have twigged about bensham but figured its probably an area in hull too. There are after all 2 Newcastles in the UK. Stands to reason there will be two Benshams

I would say (I don't know if others would agree) that if there is a fair few coming down that you let the club know.

It isn't that you will get free stuff (our PR dept isn't clued up enough for that) it's more that everyone doesn't want the stewards doing something stupid because the don't know why they have 20/30 Geordies sat watching Hull City Vs Tottenham (example).

 

Might be a few more than that. I know I wont be the only one who wants to see Ben Arfa plying his trade when the toons not playing.

Its not well known but our record attendance happened because fans wanted to watch a former player, who Chelsea had signed. Long long time ago.

Funlovingexpress now writes for the new magsnews.com. He said it during preseason in the toons local papers, he's rarely wrong about stuff like that, though his opinions can be a bit, should we say, abstract.

Independant seems a bit slow off the mark. There's nothing confirmed of course but I would say I agree. Talking about FLE, he made me laugh on one of his stories on deadline day. Basically said he would have nowt to do because the toon were not actually in for anyone and had a snipe at the mainstream bunch because they were working hard doing story after story about who they were in for.

As usual he was spot on. Think even he was surprised by the Benny fiasco.

 

Hopefully for you lads he's right this time. I've never liked Pardew, he's got one of those faces you just want to continually punch.
