Okay, maybe it shouldn't be and I'm allowing my love for him and the potential he always cameoed cloud my footballing judgement but still, seeing him in a QPR shirt and chatting with Harry Redknapp just didn't seem to follow the script I've been holding against my chest all these years. From his wicki page .... In January 2013, Sandro picked up a knee injury during the game against Queens Park Rangers. After the game it was announced that Sandro would be out for the remainder of the 2012–13 season. Prior to the game, after a run of impressive performances Sandro has been affectionately nicknamed 'Beast' by the Tottenham fans.... Thats the only mention of a long term injury and when playing his type of game you are bound to pick up a few niggles. There was also quite a few managerial changes during that time including an influx of players for large money who were bound to start in front of him. Still relatively young at 25 and been at spurs since 2010 and discounting the half season that he was injured, 81 appearances isnt that bad.
