Am I alone in thinking closing down League competition for a fortnight in order to accommodate a pile of international friendlies is a great big yawn! If it was international trophy competition I reckon I could handle it, .

It's the euro 2016 qualifiers blue, not friendlies!

Whatever- it's far too long for me to hold out before we see our Blues back back in action!

Especially this year BM, what a start and what a joy to watch us going forward. Look at it this way, 2 weeks is long enough to sort out the hiccups in the back 4 and teach Rammy and Willian to pass to their team mates. Seriously, not meaning to be critical, but its about the only thing I could find wrong in a virtually perfect start !! Massively impressed with Fabregas and Ivan, what a way to start !!

I personally believe Matic has been our best player so far. It's easy to pick up on Fab and Costa but Matic has put out fires and started making some of his own. The new Makelele signing, the glue.

I wouldn't mind if I weren't so completely disillusioned with the national team. England just is not exciting or interesting to watch anymore. Oh well!

Yeah, no interest whatsoever in the England games. I did see the squad however and I don't ever remember seeing an England squad on paper, as weak as this one.

sad times when nobody gives a **** about the england games but i certainly do not give a monkeys any more, could not believe it when that twat hodgson kept his job, him getting the vote of confidence from the FA says it all. i just sit there praying none of our players get injured at internationals.

Matic has been terrific, but what has surprised me is the step up in form from Ivan. It seems the chemistry between he, Matic and Fabregas is amazing and Ivan has been on the end of some great passes from the other 2 and run into the right place instinctively. Not that all our players haven't been great, but Ivan going forward this year has so far been excellent.

Ivan's enthusiasm and energy makes him look like 3 or 4 years younger.

In the internationals - Azpi is given #3 shirt.

Watching most international teams in football is a bore. I think most people fell asleep during the World Cup final where I watched the crowd in front of large TV screens in Plaza Major in Palma de Mallorca. Much more exciting were TEAM GB in the European Atheltics Championships. How I loved your ex youth player Adam Gemili go sub 20 seconds in the 200m in such awful conditons.

Loic Remy came on as 55 minute sub and scored an impressive left footer from around 12 yards.

Backpage filled with lackluster Engerland, where are the fans, will we starve if all the bees die......meanwhile in Staines..............

    Chelsea 3 Arsenal 2

3pts clear and even if Birmingham win their game in hand we will be level on points. Looking good for European football next season.

We by far have the fittest ladies team too, just to be a sexist pig for a second.

    Jackie Groenen :emoticon-0152-heart

Liverpool Ladies team has some hotties too.
The Everton team though, Ugh! :emoticon-0119-puke:

A few of the Pool ladies are ex-chelsea as the Ex-Chelsea manager Matt Beard is in his 2nd year up there and has taken a 2nd Div fodder team and turned it into super league winners, poaching a few of our Ladies of course. We too have had a major shake up after Casey Stoney's short spell as our manager. Emma Hayes has built the team around two ex-Arsenal Ladies of huge experience (Chapman and Flaherty), brought Aluko back, added quality foreign imports (Ogimi, Ji-Yun and Groenen ) and promoted youth. Dani Buet, Drew Spence and Claire Raffety being the notable survivors from Beard's team.

Willian scores a brilliant goal. Executed very well from a planned set piece.
Straight from the training ground. Dunga was imaginative there, guess he watches lot of American Football.

Doesn't it feel like forever since we last played a game!!

Roll on the weekend and quickly!

International break this early in a season is madness.
