Robertson's a left back, Brady is played as a left back/left wing back, Elmo is played as a right wing back and Snodgrass is out for the season. It's likely that Diame, Ben Arfa, Ramirez, Livermore and Huddlestone will fight for the midfield places and Meyler, Quinn and Ince will have to make do with the bench, or one or two may well go out on loan.
Getting these lads to play well together as a team is a different proposition altogether and not necessarily Bruces strongest suit. On paper though, it certainly looks like he`s done well.
Bruce has done well, Ben Afro came out of the blue, wish Poyets had looked at the chance of getting him Bruce hears Afro arrives while he's at a wedding please log in to view this image Livermore and Dawsons wedding. please log in to view this image Bruce lands Hernandez and wins the limbo contest. please log in to view this image
No problem for Burcie - he'll play two of them as full-backs and maybe one of them in goal! "It's a bit disorganized and I'm not too happy there" - Asamoah Gyan. But well done to Hull for going for it. It showed guts and ambition, and I hope it works out for them.
A lot of the Hull lads think HBA is fit. One even said he was fitter than the whole of the Hull squad, how he thought he knew that good only knows. I only said he was a talented player but could take 6 months to get him fully fit. They bit like hell and spewed a load of ****e which can be sorted with simple comparison. That Lewis fella has got his head screwed on. Ready to be patient with a player who'll start doing very well for them around Christmas. I just left them to it. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Giving Andy Reid a run for his money at the moment.
I would have thought yous makems would be full of glee at the tidal wave of despair that has enveloped the ' Geordie nation' since HBA joined us. Have you seen the front page of the chronicle....doom doom doom black n white army !
Haven`t seen that. You are the bearer of good tidings sir. . Ben Arfa can be a very good player when he decides to be . Don`t know how unfit he is but if he puts some effort into it (and he has every incentive to prove a point after the way Pardew treated him) he could turn out to be a cracking signing.
He was a bit weird. He seemed to be making points and then arguing against them Bit too much ale methinks, drowning his sorrows.
Sounds like a mag. Would have taken HBA all day long, once he's up to pace he'll be an asset. Will bring plenty off the bench in the meantime as well. He is inconsistant though
He has a point to prove now Bri, and if he does turn it on for Hull, Pardew`s not half going to get some flak.
He's in the last year of his contract too, so if he does turn it on for us, we'll likely enter pre-contract negotiations in January, which will mean if he agrees, they'll lose him for nothing
That was his release clause. Surprised it was only us and Everton seemingly in for him. After selling Boyd for £3m earlier in the day, we pretty much got Diame for 200k.
I honestly hope he does well for you (not against us obviously) but for the Pardew backlash. The vast majority of the fans seem to hate him with a passion already and the whole place will be in meltdown.
