I accept that mate but things change for instance there was this one club called Wimbledon that once won an FA cup and I hear they moved to a completely different city altogether. That must be another one of those countries that don't care too much for football :). Look I'm not arguing here but I think this could work even if not many people like it.

Many well balance people in this country love football with a passion, but would not die for it. Suspect our counterparts in Russia or anywhere else are no different, regardless of how big or small their club may be.
Love your football by all means, but get a life outside of that too.

I have a ****ing great life, thanks.

That doesn't change the fact that football in the UK is a much greater part of the community than Russia, comparing Anzhi, a phoenix club, and Sunderland is ridiculous.

Never having been to Russia I don't really know how much they care about football, so maybe more or less passionate than UK. But you seem to be an authority on the subject so perhaps you can enlighten us all with your knowledge of Russian football in the community. If you cannot, then your opinion is no more valid than anyone else on here.

You know mate, you write like a smug clever **** when you aren't.

Football in Russia is not even first choice sport, Russian football clubs are part of 'sporting' clubs, in the main, often larger crowds will attend ice hockey games.

Attendances are tiny in comparison to UK, in spite of population, averaging around 13k, it's clear from these nuggets alone that it's not comparable.

Now, point out when I said my opinion was more valid, you self righteous little prick, I gave my opinion, you gave yours.

Fact, Sunderland football club will not move it's training ground to London to attract the odd player, as there is absolutely no lasting benefit to the club.

Prattle on all you like you toby.

you said that it was a fact that football in the community is not like it is in the Uk, or words to that effect. So I was simply pointing out that opinions are not facts.

you also state that it's a fact that SAFC will never establish a London training camp. if you know that's a fact and you are happy with that, why get so upset about a debate on an Internet forum?

Sorry if I come across to you as clever, but I least I stay civil.

You think that was civil? 'your opinion isn't worth more than anyone elses' when I never once suggested it was, nor did I shoot anyone down, I put across my side.

'You need to get a life away from football'. Erm, we all do, ****er.

I backed up my 'football clubs in Russia aren't a large part of the community', read up on it, you'll see that what I said is indeed fact.

And it IS a fact that SAFC will never move their training ground to London, of course we ****ing won't.

You don't come across to me as clever, at all, you come across as someone who thinks they are, and there is a massive difference.

You were neither civil, nor clever.

You still don't understand the difference between opinion and fact.

By the way, you said that football in Russia was not even their No 1 sport. May interest you to know that some estimates believe that fishing, not football, is the Uk No 1 sport. true or not I don't know.... So I cannot confirm its a fact for you!

I fully understand, and my statements are facts. There is zero possibility, making it definite, making it fact.

That implies you must be Ellis's Short and also means that you intend to own the Club for ever and that you'll never change your mind. So at least that settles the debate.

    No, it doesn't.

The FA clearly stated after the MK DOns debate that no English football club would ever again be granted a license to relocate.

Now, a smart arse like you should have known this.

    There's your fact.

Your opinion and you are entitled to it.

nothing wrong with a good debate, it's what the forum is for.

shame that some need to resort to swearing and unpleasantness when others have the nerve to back up an argument with reasoned debate. Why should Mods take action over an otherwise healthy debate?

Who,s talking arbour relocating. this whole thread has been about opening a training camp, not moving lock stock and barrel.

Sorry if that makes you feel a little silly, but Even the title of the thread made the subject matter very clear.

Moving the training facilities would absolutely be seen as relocation by the FA.

It would be seen to have a potential impact on clubs in the local area, and that's what the FA vowed would not be allowed to happen.

Even if that was true, which I cannot confirm one way or the other, still does not mean it cannot or will not be tried. Then FA would need to prove the legality of any enforcement they wish to put in place.

It could then be argued that scouting in any area other than your immediate locality would have an impact on clubs and we would presumably end up with all clubs fielding a team of locals. Think that's how it all started so might not be a bad thing!

Well isn't this better than that boring borini thread, it's entertaining and isn't that what the site is supposed to be, however a why does it always get personal, everybody entitled to an opinion no more or less, no need for the jibes at each other guys.

BBC are you just throwing the idea out there for debate, or are you serious about a potential move, think I'm in first camp but a hypothetical thread after the let down of the transfer window is welcome with me
