    He originally said no as he thought he had a chance to stay in Spain. Spainish premiera division over the spl? Can you blame the lad really. Deal done now. Let's just hope he is more of a hooper than a bangura

    Record Sport understands the John Guidetti deal has been completed but that the paperwork still needs rubber-stamped in order for the club to announce the signing officially.

    Guidetti deal failed to go through in time sfa never had time to finalise the deal !! like old times hiding the papers in a drawer , is it because his named rhymed with caddette??

    Sfa have asked FIFA tp accept transfer as not Celtics fault, thats what I heard last night anyway.

    Can't see Man City giving him a free, they would be due some cash if he leaves in summer due to his age

    Appeal with UEFA regarding Guidetti transfer, club confident transfer will be approved. Sure this happened the other year too

    Not fussed if we miss out on Guidetti ... great if he does get approval as the squad will be stronger up front but I think we have enough to cope now.

    Be a good signing if it comes off, be able to bring on a half decent striker would be great for us!!

    If it does happen the lad is just putting his name back out there for a better move in the summer when his contract is up. On that basis you can see why last night the time was spent securing Scepovic on a permanent deal
