Saints knocked up a 'thank-you' video for Jos. Nice to watch.
As already said, it's very obvious in the wording about the players leaving how the club felt about the players who have gone. Cheers Jos for the work in getting us back to the prem and good luck in the future
Ah man. Love Jos. I'll always remember three things: 1. The goal v west ham at home 2. Calling himself Box Head 3. After his goal to make it 3-0 v Coventry, the whole ground suddenly realised we were there a d rose as one to sing, "We are Southampton, we're Premier League" 8 friggin goals that championship season from CB. #minilegend
Gonna miss the big man, immense in the championship, i am sure he can be that again with Norwich, put a right smile on my face watching that video, gotta love him
Jim Lucas on Twitter: "Will really miss Jos. Always good for a laugh, a smile and a chat whenever you saw him around the club. An absolutely top bloke. #saintsfc"
So long big man and thanks for everything . Good luck at Norwich and hope to see you back at SMS next year !!!
That video was ace. The one player that I feel really bad about not making the grade is Jos. So wish he had been able to step up. Really cheerful and also passionate. How pumped up was he after that West Ham Goal. lol. Southampton - It's kind of a tropical paradise in England isn't it.
My sentiments about Saints statement appear to be the same as others. Jos behaved with good humour, professionalism and above all, dignity. The video has already been posted so I'll save a picture of the best CB partnership in the Championship: please log in to view this image These are the good guys. Cheers Jos.
Watching the goal from the Coventry game and the celebrations after reminds me I still haven't replaced my lounge lampshade which I broke when I jumped up in celebration at Sharp's goal. lol. My son and I stand in the lounge watching the streams on the 40" TV
Yeah, I thought that too. When Jos's goals were rattling in, there was Hammond, Richardson, Sharp, De Ridder, Fox, etc... The old faces seemed like they were from a totally different era, but it was less than 4 years ago. Memorable..!
