http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/96940-hull-city-wtf/ "Ramirez and Ben Arfa are no better than we have already- seriously." I must admit how much I wished we had just signed Nugent and Albrighton instead.
So we've got Hernandez/Jelavic/Ramirez/Huddlestone/Livermore/Ben Arfa/Quinn/Diame/Meyler/Aluko/Brady Only player they have that I'd take a look at signing is Knockaert.
They parked a bus to win 1 point at home against a woefully underperforming Arsenal yesterday and they think they're top 4 this season. WIth 2 points from 3 games. Honestly, buncha ****s.
I've been really impressed by them so far - three good performances against strong teams. Not that top half isn't ridiculous for them, mind.
Leicester have performed really well so far, they have a tough run of games yet they havnt been spanked yet and have taken points from everton & arsenal. Their biggest problem will be when the buzz of promotion dies down a bit around christmas time and when everyone's played them once and know how to beat them... newly promoted clubs usually do well in their first half of the season, is just how it goes sometimes. Dont forget we BEAT arsenal at their ground in our first season up, and we beat Spurs and took United close with a 4-3 result.. last season also, beat Liverpool 3-1 and again close to beating United. I think they'll stay up but there's no way they'll keep up the same level of performance all season.
The posters on Foxestalk are without doubt a bunch of ****s, but if you think Leicester parked the bus against Arsenal, then I can only assume you didn't watch the game. They were excellent and they've looked way better than us so far this season.
I'm not getting into a row over that game with you. I did watch it, and they defended with 8 players and hit Arsenal on the break. That team is as good as it gets for them, we've played more games and have got more points from the same number of games, including being hampered by ****ty decisions, so regardless of how anyone looks, we've done better so far, and we WILL get a lot better.
When one team has faced DQPR, Stoke and Villa and the other has played Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal, it's criminally negligent not to mention that or take it into account.
Cardiff beat Man City and drew with Utd last season early on and they went down. Personally, I think they’ll stay up. But they’ll struggle like **** to do it and they’ll find beating the so called lesser teams not so easy.
