Assman has just arrived at Stoke and the club says they are doing one more deal...........................fingers crossed
Welbeck has always confused me as he can look really good but rarely delivers the goal or assist (though strangley his record looks much better for England than Manu) but he did give Manu a direct willing runner who (at times) has some neat moves and made spave and time for others. Just think he would be better at a club where he would be a regular starter to see how far he could progress and i'm not sure he will be regular starter at Arsenal once Giroud is fit.
He'll get more opportunity at Arsenal than United at least which is probably a huge deciding factor for him. Top club, CL football and limited competition so more game time.
Welbeck is a good player and I'd be sorry to see him leave United as he's a local boy who loves the club. He's not a natural finisher though so I'm not sure he's the right man to replace Giroud and once Giroud is fit again I don't see Danny being a regular starter. He'd be a star at a mid table club other than United.
Hence Falcao who you've been saying all day is a player we don't need. Be consistent! We've also conceded fewer goals in the league than Chelsea. Odd.
Apparently..............Welbeck is Arsenals first English striker to sign since..............wait for it......................Francis Jeffers
Not really NOF, if Utd had played Everton on Saturday they'd have shifted more than three and lost, on the other hand had Chelsea played Burnley in week three they'd have had a clean sheet. Not odd at all.
The reason you haven't scored more is there is no supply from midfield. You have the players to score but not the players to create the chances. It's like buying the most hi-tech gun then finding you don't have anyone to supply the bullets
Sounds about right to me him alongside a poacher would be fine but as a lone striker no £16m seems a bit excessive as well mind you considering some of our and othe clubs willingness to chuck money away why not
Chelsea have played Burnley and conceded. What the **** has week three got to do with it? Good to see you giving credit to Everton though. Arsenal have also conceded more league goals than United.
But you guys told me he was there to replace Welbeck, Hernandez and Van Persie So a 28 year old with 3 knee operations and no football in months is going to turn you into a goal scoring machine? #onemanteam #bestplayerisloaned #theevertonway
Our midfield needs improving and when everyone is fit it will be much better but Rooney and RVP simply don't link up well. Falcao will make a huge difference. I think that's obvious to everyone which is why some are trying to pick holes in the deal.
Ffs, Chelsea like any other team aren't fully functioning in their first game of the new season and get to **** with your Everton comment, I always give Everton credit when its due.
