I don't. We have signed Rodwell, Alvarez and Gomez who offer options for goals from midfield which we have been lacking for years. Add AJ to that and we have much better attacking strengths.
we badly need a striker. our midfield is the strongest it has been since we came back up, but we have three strikers; one does **** all, one is excellent but can't score goals, and one thinks he's the bollocks but has scored five goals in three years. between them all they might get twenty goals this season.
Goals from midfield has badly been missed and we do look a lot better for it but must agree with the guy above that i think we could struggle without another striker. Only thing that could work is to drop Fletcher and play Wickham down the centre but i don't think anyone else looks like scoring up top.
Maybe welbeck not goin 2 spurs or arsenal by the sounds of it not saying hes the answer but hes better than what we have at the moment
Honestly think Welbeck would be exactly what we need but I have a horrible feeling he could be heading to Newcastle :-(
We need to play Wickham in the middle. What we need is a left sided striker to fill the Borini void. Welbeck woukd be perfect. If we don't get someone Giacc is going to probably have to play there. No bad thing really but it leaved us with very little cover.
It's blatantly obvious we must have the weakest strikers in the league. And here we are, 2 and a half hours to go, and nothing's happening. Apparently. Or is it? I bloody hope so or it's going to be another long season looking over our shoulders.
