Apparently we're going to make do with Arteta. The stats of his passing and tackle completion rates have apparently blinded Wenger to his lack of physicality.

Huntelarr is my second choice for Arsenal after Cavani.

Seems to have gotten better with age. The guy is clinical as they come.


£18 Million for a 23 year old England International is actually on the cheap side. When u think of how much Shaw, Carroll and even Chambers cost.

Honestly I would be very happy with either Huntelarr or Wellbeck.

 

Hopefully not a case of dithering between Welbeck and Huntelaar and getting neither. I do think that either would be lethal for us with the service on offer.

They went as far as to say the medical had been completed.Rumours that there is no deal because Man Utd only want a loan and we want a permanent deal.

If we get only one decent signing, honestly I'd prefer him, and a cheap 3rd/4th choice CB.


Huntelaar is a bit out of the blue though, do Schalke have an excess of CFs? As the BundesLiga transfer window has been closed for a while, and they can't "resupply".

 

Welbeck will go to spurds then. Not like he'll have to travel far..

Chelsea may make more money but they make a loss nearly every season.If they only spent what they made you'd see a difference in their transfer activity
