Apparently we're going to make do with Arteta. The stats of his passing and tackle completion rates have apparently blinded Wenger to his lack of physicality.
Because both of us make our money rather than having a sugar daddy. Imagine who United could have had if they didn't pay Glazers and loan interest every year. That is about £80 million a year. We have had to pay £300 million for new stadium. City don't make money and were given a stadium. Chavs don't make money just have Russian mafia money
That too, but I was also thinking about a CB. We now have less cover than last season in the CB/RB positions.
Chelsea make more money than us now, they've had Abramovich long enough that ffp won't affect them so much. City will have a bigger problem but I'm sure they'll find a way round it
The guy "brokering" the deal for Welbeck says he wants £18m for a permanent move. I reckon he's smoking crack.
Huntelarr is my second choice for Arsenal after Cavani. Seems to have gotten better with age. The guy is clinical as they come. £18 Million for a 23 year old England International is actually on the cheap side. When u think of how much Shaw, Carroll and even Chambers cost. Honestly I would be very happy with either Huntelarr or Wellbeck.
Hopefully not a case of dithering between Welbeck and Huntelaar and getting neither. I do think that either would be lethal for us with the service on offer.
You have to be really bad to not produce decent stuff with the level of support on offer here. Sanogo is proof of that.
The whole 'Welbeck is having Arsenal medical' was first reported by Sky so looks like their credibility is shot. Huntelaar rumours are strengthening....
They went as far as to say the medical had been completed.Rumours that there is no deal because Man Utd only want a loan and we want a permanent deal.
Guardian is saying the Carvalho thing is not dead. If we get only one decent signing, honestly I'd prefer him, and a cheap 3rd/4th choice CB. Huntelaar is a bit out of the blue though, do Schalke have an excess of CFs? As the BundesLiga transfer window has been closed for a while, and they can't "resupply".
So just sign him on a f*cking loan then, what's the problem? It's not like we're after him to solve our long-term problems, is it?
Chelsea may make more money but they make a loss nearly every season. If they only spent what they made you'd see a difference in their transfer activity
