Yes.. Very Good point. City and Arsenal are not yet established CL teams and didn't want him anyway. Falcao is rubbish in any case...isn't he?
Maybe he thought the 4 British teams in Europe have no chance of winning it, so I might as well go to the biggest club. Put a serious year in for them, and it could be a permanent deal
Apparently Hummels could be on his way to OT. Surely that can't happen can it? United are not in the CL....
You are probably right. Isn't this a rumour thread? Obviously without any foundation whatsover. (But now the bookies are offering shorter odds for United than for Barca - does not mean it is more likely to happen!)
Something to do with his wages perhaps... At 300k/week he'll have the highest in the premiership. This is insane but this is what he already earns at Monaco (FFS how to they justify this amount in the piddly french league??) . So not a lot of clubs could have afforded him. Even those playing in the CL....
Something like 10.5m pounds per year in wages was the rumour for Arsenal so at 300k PW for you that's absolutely mental. Essentially paying 13-14m pounds + 6 for a loan, with the option to buy for 45 and THEN to keep paying his wages. Madness, all for a player coming off a ligament injury. Massive risk but I suppose there's no reward unless you go for it. He will be a straight up replacement for RVP this season since his injury problems have started up again. Will he be better? Possibly. Good signing for your lot but honestly with your defence in such shambles I don't see how you're going to improve much.
Just outscore the opposition. The old United used to do that. Forget about defence. Not madness. Just accepting the reality. For United to get the players they have to offer more than the CL clubs. United distorting the football market others? yes but I couldn't give a **** Seriously defence will be sorted. You dont need to worry
It's their way to understand it, after being told all summer we can't attract big players they want to believe it's only about the money lol
