Do keep up, this is in the The Manchester United Transfer Rumours Thread -Updated Daily! try using it
I posted about this in the transfer rumour thread, but for Matths benefit I will say this: Why in the hell would United go for Falcao. You now have an attacking line consisting of RVP, Rooney, Mata and Di Maria. That would be in the top 10 on the planet. The fact that you have Evans, Blackett, Jones etc at the back surely should indicate this is where LVG's attention should lie in terms of new signings. If he signs Falcao he needs his head testing........
Is this a ****ing joke? United pipping City for a player? It is not even 1st April http://whatculture.com/sport/man-utd-transfers-65m-falcao-deal-done.php

2 defenders and 2 DMs...at least. There is no point having a good 11 if the rest are not good enough. I am afraid the rebuilding isn't completed yet. Still a lot of dead wood to get rid of.
Yes but youth should always be injected into a performing team. The last 20-25 years have taught us that. To put youth into a struggling team will be disastrous. United IMO cannot think of youth for another 2-3 years.
Astrohashtag thinks it's a **** signing as what will we do when Falcao leaves next season and RVP is a year older? It's a conundrum. What do football clubs do when players leave or get old?
In United's predicament they just cannot afford to think about next year or the next decade.. It is the here and now to be sorted. The present is **** but we have to worry about the future?...
He's just green with envy as they were waiting for a World name like Falcao to arrive all summer to replace Jaws. Once they ended up with Mad Mario he of course became World Class by definition , but they'd have creamed their kecks if Falcao had arrived, so it's just bitterness that they're now saying it's a **** deal - because he's at United.
Fully expect LVG to bring in another defender today, he more than anyone knows that's the area most in need of attention.
This Unfortunately as a club who only recently prided ourselves as 'long term' planners, the wheels have come off and need to be fixed asap. Another year out of the top 4 would be big blow. Credit where credit is due - LVG is attracting big names (IMHO they would not have come under Moyes even for big money). Initial reports suggest if he does well the deal includes a fixed price option to buy next year.
