Real Madrid and Manchester United have agreed a loan deal for Javier Hernandez. Only wages to be agreed. [via @GuillemBalague]
Looks like we got Remy. 2014: Mata and Luiz for Fabregas, Costa, Remy and Matic. our club has done some decent business (for once)
We've actually signed six players since January. What more exactly do you expect Woodward to do? Sign 10 more???
Sign loads of players LVG doesn't necessarily want, who aren't for sale, and who have shown no signs of actually pushing for a move to Utd of course. Contracts should be no problem! What else should a CEO be doing?
The system with SAF and Gill were simple. SAF gave Gill the list, Gill did the deal, job done. The new system seems to be LVG prefers specific players, but Woodbrain has the option of buying choice 2 and 3 who he deems more suitable.(Actual translation quite a few mill cheaper, and keeps me as the Glaziers golden boy)
No idea why you're quoting my post pal. I'm not the one making out like Fergie and Gill signed every player they ever targeted at a bargain knock down price.
Aye, I'm sure the Glazers were thrilled when Woodward failed to spend £40m on Vidal, and so decided the best way to save some cash was to spend £60m on Di Maria...
I think Edward Woodward should get the same treatment his namesake got: please log in to view this image
SSN is going to be crazy tomorrow. I expect the transfer total to push, if not possibly break the £900 million barrier, not to mention Natalie Sawyer in that yellow dress
sorry Swarbs, after last years fiasco I don't trust Woodentop. We needed more changes last year, all we got was Fellaini, and at an inflated price. The signing seemed OK, as he was great at Everton, but was awful for us. But he was the only signing, we missed out on strengthening the side last August, but Woodentop failed miserably.
woodward was probably rejected by a majority of your targets tbh, youre not in the champions league anymore remember
You do realise the amount of money United have spent this summer?? Heck the last 18 months? You can hardly say the money spent on Di Maria, Mata, Herrera & Shaw were bargain bucket buys. You don't know your born... When you see your team picking up Joe Cole on a free and Paul Koncheskey for a couple of mill then you can talk about poor decisions by execs
