Looks a classy player, but long way to go to be proven as influential as Lallana. He may have acted a dick, but he's utter class.
To be fair it's pretty hard to argue with that. I'd agree. Toby alone would take that up to a 7, it would mean we've replaced Lovren with someone probably better. Another winger and we're looking at a solid 8. The outgoings really have made this a tough summer though.
I would put the transfer window at a 7 so far. But my glass is always halfway full - of vodka.
But not it seems we have more match winners etc. Last season if Lallana was playing **** or not playing we played poorly 90% of the time.

If we pull of Mane and Toby (or even Redmond) then it will be an 9/10 window.
And credit will have to go to the club for heavily reinvesting the fee's into top quality talent.
Pull them off? Is this the way we win signatures now?

I disagree with 'everything' as we have signed some good players. I can't believe you are still hung up on those that have gone as it is old ground and not a lot the club could have done. It feels so old it seems like last season.
As Fonte said, we have a good manager, we still had good players left and we have brought in good players, so we will be fine.
It's not that hard to argue with really. Club could do very little about the big time Charlies leaving and we've signed some good players.
I am hardly "hung up" I am merely making an assessment based on the whole window.
That's ok, I just disagreed that's all. But hey, we're three games in, so too early for either if us to declare how good it has been.
Sorry if a stupid question, when does the window shut ? Is it 5pm or is that the january window?
