Agree about being unable to name anyone as MOTM, we were awful in almost every position

Coach 1 voted Robertson overall but votes went to Jelavic, Brady and Aluko.

    Robertson
    Brady
    Jelavic

The corner from Huddlestone in the second half, that went straight into the side netting, was embarrassing.

Too many players under performed today. Hopefully we'll see better against WHU.

    Livermore
    Robertson
    Jelavic

Livermore only wins this as after Huddlestone went off he all of a sudden became the best player on the park which instantly took him above the rest of our lot today! Struggled to pick a top three though in all honesty. Brady looked good again when he came on. Ince looked mildly threatening when he had the ball but the game passed him by far too much today. Elmo had one of his worst games for us today, never seen so many poor crosses come from his boot. Huddlestone had an absolute shocker and Dawson was shaky at times, willing to let him off for this though as he is probably getting used to playing in a back 3

Robertson was excellent. If the maturity he's showing was replicated across the team we'd be laughing. Jelavic had a tough time and worked hard for little reward until the fortunate OG. Dawson demonstrated his ability to create a pinpoint diagonal pass out to the wing, and will get up to speed with the 3 at the back formation.

I know it was a bad day at the office, but we've all seen much worse, and known these players care enough to improve. Villa caught us off guard by being much tighter and sharper than we expected.

You obviously missed the first half of last season, otherwise that comment wouldn't make any sense.

    1. Quinn only player making runs and injecting any pace and energy.
    2. Brady came on and looked sharp good delivery for the goal and was willing to run at players.
    3. Rosenior as solid as ever and much better than Elmo in a 4-4-2

    Result:

    Jelavic
    Robertson
    Quinn

    Current table:

    Chester 7
    Quinn 6
    Jelavic 5
    Brady, Sagbo, Robertson, Elmohamady 3
    Figueroa, Aluko 2
    Davies, Ince 1

Therefore, August's player of the month is James Chester.

I say that is about right, he has had a very solid start to the season.
