    Spurs 0 - Liverpool 3

So if Spurs beat us by 4 and Liverpool beat Spurs by 3 that means ....

    we should beat Liverpool!

    It's funny old game.

I think Pochettino needs to apologise or resign now.

Doesn't that mean Liverpool would put seven past us?

For me the Arsenal game is far more important. If they win it leaves the bottom 3 as.......

    Leicester
    Palace
    Burnley

The 3 I see as most likely to be below us come may next year.

Really, really hate to say this but on the strength of today's performance, I can see Leicester staying up before us. I think we need to hope for CP, Burnley and another hopefully not us.

From seeing the result I fear you may be right. Didn't see the game, I take it they weren't too bad then. Any thought as to who that 3rd team (if not us) could be?

That is pretty much spot on in my opinion. After watching them today and last week against Chelsea I think they're a better TEAM than us and are a good bet to stay up.

I got no idea who will go down. I can't see Leicester going down. Now Palace have got yet another good Manager, they aren't guaranteed to drop either, I saw the first half of Burnley - Man U yesterday, and as last season they look solid and play well together, not relegation certainties either. Before yesterday I'd have said we were clear favourites to be 20th, but that performance gave some hope that we'll at least be in the relegation fight with the above mentioned and a few others.

Arsenal looked terrible today, and Chelsea were totally complacent Vs Leicester. Scraping a point against those two didn't impress me.
I actually think Leicester will struggle more against the Stokes of this world- who won't consider them a shoe-in for 3 pts. They'll come out with energy and aggression, rather than the lethargic flicks/passes of arrogant early-season top6 teams.

I thought Arsenal looked really ordinary today. Leicester put a lot of effort in and deserved a point. I think we need to see where everyone is after 10 games or so.

Bit like in '91, Liverpool beat derby 7-1, we then played Liverpool at anfield and won 3-1, we next played derby, should obviously have won 10-2, but drew 1-1.

    Makes no sense.
