Is it ont me who's not overly impressed with Robertson? Great engine yes and his wad works on the right wavelength but his technical ability leaves a lot to be desired. Don't think he's put a single good ball in the box yet has he? Always badly over hit.

Sat in traffic.

First half we were too narrow.

Second half much improvement with the introduction of width from Brady and Rosenior. Aluko opened them up a bit more.

Long journey home.

Lose the negativity guys. We've got an international break to endure now.

Just once, before I shuffle off, I would like to see us win at Villa Park.

You've gotta love Brucey however that's the first time that I've heard him speak an untruth in a post match interview. For him to say Michael Dawson was one of our best players on the day is total bollocks I'm afraid, he was to blame for at least one of their goals. My hope is that it's general rustiness, but I'm sorry Brucey, he was a loooooong way from being one of our better players today.

Well Thudd didn't hold back.

Tom Huddlestone ‏@Huddz8 13s
F**king hopeless today I was. Lads fought back well in the second half but the first half performance all round was unacceptable

Good. Because he was. And because it wasn't.

You can't beat honesty, I think that, obviously along with brilliant performances, is all that we want.

Respect to Thudd, now sort your fooking head out Tom!

Huddlestone had a mare, Dawson doesn't yet know what shirts we wear and too many had an off day. McShane stood off Agbhonlahor and let him turn with space for the first goal. It all looked better when Brady, Rosy and Aluko came on, Jelavic was even able to get more involved. Too little too late...

Was very angry listening to the match with Peter Swans repeated criticism of Jelavic, I don't know how he thinks criticising him is going to help him at all and was very pleased he scored again as he works tirelessly. Radio Humberside is shocking to listen to a lot of the time. Anybody see David Burns laughable comment about Villa before the match? Its time Humberside got two proper pundits in to commentate

EMBARRASSING is all I can say! Nowhere near the levels I usually offer the team. Lads rallied 2nd half but damage was already done!

Jelavic looks a lot better this season, not so sloppy with the ball. He's yet to have a sitter to miss, or his trademark air kick, but from the first three games he already looks much more comfortable than he did last season bar the odd game.

Sorry to quote myself again but I know the goal was given as an OG but still Jelavic caused it also nearly got us a pen. Might complain about Humberside one of these days they are so complacent and lazy with the commentary and the analysis is woeful

Swan is awful. I don't know why Humberside use him.
