The last time Sandro played at Loftus Road, he was awful and was subbed, as I recall. I suppose we all have off days....

No news on Defoe and Crouch yet?

Too late to sign Defoe on Thursday.

Not sure we would want him given his ongoing injury woes.

"Artificial turf is much harder on the bodies joints, tendons and ligaments in comparison to natural grass. It's not surprising to see more tears and strains in the MLS particularly with the older players.... simple wear and tear-literally."

Jermain Defoe has been hampered by hamstring and groin issues in his first season with Toronto FC

Jermain Defoe out again with groin injury - Toronto FC striker will miss several weeks

Toronto FC's injury woes have deepened with news that star striker Jermain Defoe has been sidelined once again.

Manager Ryan Nelsen says Defoe is seeing a specialist about a lingering groin injury and will be out for several weeks.

The good news is that Nelsen says it is not a season-ending injury.

The England striker has been hampered by hamstring and groin issues this season. Nelsen believes they are all related.
