Can I take a camera into Loftus Road? I mean a proper, full size DSLR camera like this: please log in to view this image
In summary no. Read here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/photographing-the-football-league-or-premier-league.301010/
There's a bloke who sits not too far from me who has an SLR with a 200mm lens on it. He has it at every game and no one stops him from using it.
Hmm... thanks for your answers everyone. It looks like the rules are clear but it's a 50/50 chance I'll get away with it. I don't want to be disallowed for going into the game.
I would imagine that if you ask they will refuse, whereas if you bring it with you who's to know? A bit like putting a driveway in your garden 😉
Can't you just stash it down your trousers, if they ask just say your name is Randy Hungwell and your a gifted porn actor...
i took mine in about a year ago. i think you're not allowed zoom lenses over 300mm or that was at the time. The rules are probably set by AP or Getty, not the club.
