OK, may only the third match of the season but do we see tomorrow as a must win game. Not only is Sunderland the type of team we have to beat, especially at home, if we are to survive, if we don't win I can see the spectre of the start of season form shown under Hughes will start to rear its ugly head.
No game is a must win only three games into the season, but a win would go a long way to calming all the nerves
No, not yet. Generally speaking, the table has taken a sensible shape after 10 games. Let's give it at least 8.
Of course not and we should all go in to this one with the expectation that we could lose again, there's just too much negativity around the club at the moment and the uncertainty of who's coming or going. But hopefully the guys will do it for Ale, hopefully it will be the start of stability and people can gain some positivity again.
In the terms of the league No but in terms of Moral, faith in management\players etc Yes. It's a steep, slippy, down hill slope and we are on the edge, if we go over the top, a huge task to pull us back.
Im not sure the 3rd game of any season could be classed as "must win" surely? It is a long long season
Whilst it isn't a must win it is vital imo that we do not lose. We need to get some points on the board asap.
I try! Serioulsy though, to be even suggesting game 3 is must win is daft. When we saw our tough first few fixtures, I think many of us Leicester fans expect to be in bottom 3, Lets see after 10-15 games.
Quite Right Miami......there are some knee jerk reactions at times but unfortunately the way Sky hype up the whole thing every bloody game is treated as do or die which is ludicrous....things will settle down after Monday's deadline has passed....
I find it hard to get worked up over a run of bad results this early in the season especially when we put in our cameos in the Cup competitions. Just because we would like to see us win a Cup game doesn't mean the end of the world is nigh when we fail to do so. I'm more interested in the level of the performance, the commitment and desire shown and the spirit shown. All look poor at the moment but it just takes one lucky deflection or bounce, one bad decision by a ref in our favour and one scrappy point nicked for the confidence to soar both in the stands and on the pitch. For me, the fortunate thing is that if we do play badly against the Mackems, at least I won't have to face them in the office for another week. Always look on the bright side and all that. Difficult I know when we have a manager with a face like a slapped arse. I'm just amazed that nobody said that when answering Queen's request for the reasons why some of us can't stand him. What a PC board we are!
Something I said on a thread the other day is that all it takes is for another team to be complacent and we have our first win. From there, who knows where it could go. Football is fickle and can move in small margins.
I agree, it's a must score game. Not too bothered if we don't win (although would be very welcome). A goal and a good performance are probably more important at this stage.
Thank you..at least someone is listening to me... Must win, 3 games in..? Only if you are out to get rid of Harry.
This of course is a must win game They should all be We are only down or in Europe when the points tell the story Of course we must beat Sunderland at home We review it all on Sunday I'm not going lads tomorrow to those I said I would meet up with as preparing to shoot off to France in Sep and have loads to do tomorrow Have a great day lads
