All true. And I wasn't contesting any of what you said. Just UiR and Metth's claim. I call BS where I see it is all. As many people have done to me in the past.
It's a WUM, can't be a lack of knowledge because he is insinuating that these players aren't very good, and in that respect his knowledge is spot on!
Still baffles me why Brenda felt the need to "strengthen the depth of the squad" with journeymen without improving his first team with top quality players. Surely you always want to make sure your first team is as strong as possible? It is almost admitting that he has no chance of competing with the chavs and City and therefore he is not going to try. So that first premiership title is as far away as ever???
Like always the picture is complex. But who gives a damn? He is with us and fingers Xed he will give his all.
Honestly don't think we can attract the big hitters yet. Still have to get the players who could become stars. Lovren, Moreno and Balotelli should improve the first XI whilst Markovic has bags of potential - could be this season's Sterling.
Typical Madrid-esque situation imo. Ancelotti wanted to keep him and saw him as important to the team The board wanted to move him on so they could bring in the next big name Di Maria's comments make it sound like he wasn't pushing for a move, but before he could make a decision the board forced him out Funny to see how five days ago Ancelotti was insisting Khedira was close to leaving but ADM was going nowhere, and now Di Maria is gone but apparently Khedira is staying. Will be interesting to see if Ancelotti can repeat last year's success, with the board appearing to have decided on his new line up for him.
Fabregas didn't want to leave Barca, it's his childhood club. If he had to leave Barca it would only be for Arsenal. He's not at Chelsea for the cash though!
Exactly my point. Fabregas probably didnt want to leave Barca, and once Arsenal said no he had to go somewhere else. He came to us for no other reason than the fact that we are in the CL, competing for trophies and will pay him a **** ton of cash. Doesnt change the fact that he is now a Chelsea play who will probably help us kick copious amounts of ass this season.
He enjoyed his time at Real, but knowing he was low in the pecking order, he refused a new contract He agreed (NOT FORCED) to sign a contract with United He sent an open letter to Real fans explaining the reasons Simple, basic facts. But twisting all the facts is what sell newspapers and allows the wum's ammunition. The bottom line is that will he or won't he be a success? Time to comment after he's made 10 appearances for United.
One less than Raheem I think EDIT: Agree on Madrid... If Di Maria looked more like Ronaldo or James then he'd still be there. Perez wants stars that will sell the Madrid brand. Angel's head is a little too...
Whereas Torres forced his move through in desperation to get into a Chelsea shirt and start banging in goals for fun! Sounds like he'll fit right in alongside Jones and Rooney
That was because he knew Liverpool were on a down slide and thought he would get more money and win more trophies with Chelsea. Which he has done I guess. Leaving aside the fact that he has been ****, he has accomplished his goal I suppose.
Dear god, what are we coming to? A player's ability is based on his looks? So Ribery with a huge scar wouldn't make your team Leave out Ronaldinho and Tevez in case they upset female fans? Ozil because of his bulging eyes? you get into a side because of ability, not being a preened peacock who can strut on a catwalk
