Yes, because Mercedes team management were driving the cars that hit each other <doh>

Or are Lewis and Nico robots and their driving is in fact done by two 10 year olds from the back of the Mercedes truck with a couple of Xbox controllers!?

That's how I saw it as well. They decided to publicly blame Rosberg to try to placate Hamilton. Amateurs.

Amateurs sums it up. The absence of a clear leader with a pedigree shows.

Its really disappointing. Caterham have gone from the best and most likely team to progress of the new 3 to the biggest joke team. HRT #2

Very interesting twitter PR by Merc.

Open twitter results are 92% are for open racing and NO team orders between teammates and they are now surveying what actions should be taken for contact between teammates!

I imagine something like 'shot - to be applied retroactively' will be the most popular choice.

Shooting is far too quick. Let them go via dehydration or by hanging them upside-down for long periods. Not before a spot of water torture though. :p

Just threaten them with the sack... though it looks like Hamilton has gotten the shaft on that one, given his contract negotiations have supposedly been put on hold till next year.

Appologies from both Rosberg(s PR team) and Hamilton(s PR team). I'm sure this is totally natural and not at all forced <ok>

Seems totally genuine and entirely spontaneous from both sides.
