Brady Davies Figgy midfield absolute gash but has no one yet commented that our midfielders are used to having 3 in the middle. Livermore and Meyler looked lost in a 4-4-2
I was saying it all night - we didn't have a midfield and it was obvious from less than 10 minutes in. Bruce should have changed things to a 352 and moved Brady into centre mid really early on with Rosie LWB and Figgy at centre half.
I was suggesting exactly the same. We had the personnel on the field to change the system without having to make any subs. Only Brady would have been playing slightly out of position but after his goal his confidence returned and he would've been OK in that role.
iirc, it was actually brady that won the ball in the middle of the pitch, who then passed it to meyler who subsequently pinged it to figgy on the left who then hit a swinging ball into the box for the onrushing brady to pounce it in at the far post brady looked a tad like his old self, he'd of been good rushing through the middle, figgy actually got forward quite a few times, so brady seemed to be drifting in anyways aftee our 1st goal I could sense their keeper was rattled, we didnt test him enough and apart from meylers attempt that was all he did apart from routine catches

Final result: Brady Figueroa Davies Davies and Elmo got the same amount of points but because Davies got more second places he gets the point. Will post a table after I've counted Villa.
