According to twitter rumours he is still in Italy awaiting the permit to play which is not likely until after the international break.

Its only been a few weeks. Thank God he was not trying to get a passport, we would all be waiting until Christmas.

Twitter saying Harry doesnt know where this fella is. So if he is a no show, Remy is sold and Austin is injured that leaves Zamora. Hmmm good times.

For ****'s sake! No other clubs seem to have these issues.

    We are so useless!

Is there any doubt about the international clearance?

I'd assume, if it was a mere formality, he'd be training with the team and settling into his new dwellings already?

I don't really know mate, but said before getting a work permit takes time, I thought Isla's was sorted pretty quick, but it took over a week I think.

No it's just a formality as he's a full international. But each country have different rules, procedures and red tape. Italy being Italy, it will probably take some time. Isla's took about a week to sort and that was from Spain. Ian Taylor said there's nothing the club can do to speed it up, otherwise they would be doing all they could to speed it through. I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed it comes through before we have to name the team. Don't think we should be risking Austin, Remy at the moment is our only fit striker and I fear until the window closes and he knows where he's going to be playing, his mind isn't going to be on it. But I think things will start to settle next week and we can just start to get on with it. I do think the FA should do something about tying our season in with the rest of Europe so we don't have to go down the stupid route of everything up in the air for the first month. It damages smaller teams like ourselves and you just don't know what's going to happen, absolutely stupid the way it is.
