I think from most people that message would sound pretentious and insincere, but I think we know he genuinely meant it because he's flamboyant like that. For all his shortcomings as a footballer, he really is a class act as a man. His personal history in Sierra Leone is also pretty inspirational. I wish him all the best (with fond memories of his bullet header against Everton).
