I wouldn't - some of us have bills to pay in a City where the income levels are some of the poorest in the country.
I support my team, sure, but I'm not going to leave myself potless to watch a game of football.

Changing a team a lot will just make it disjointed I think.

I don't mean to sound like I'm making excuses, but going out isn't the end of the World. It might well just help our position in the Prem. The way we've played, we bloody deserve to go out.

People keep saying "why isn't Bruce playing the first XI"... probably because he's trying to keep us in the Prem. It was clear to see from the teams that he put out that he wasn't massively bothered about this. Look at it this way - finishing 4 or 5 places higher in the Prem will make the club more money than playing 6 games in Europe. In the long term, finishing say 11th instead of 15th will help give you a strong position going forward. One European campaign won't.

Lokeren tried winning the game for 180 minutes, and rightly did so, they have been much better than us.

Me and BCC called it with 2-1. Deserve to go out.

You just predicted what many City thought but won't put it in writing or run the rath of the Trols. Fact is we was never going for tonight and the starting eleven confirmed it. Rare miss for me,just feel Bruce has his head screwed on right by telling joe soap time and time again Prem safety comes first and amen that.

That's why I said it's fair enough I suppose, just surprised me that some 6,000 who can make it along to a PL game against United or Tottenham can't afford 20 quid for such a big game.

We did our best, but just didn't create anything. Don't know what's wrong with Aluko though.

It will be a massive boost to us staying up. In all honesty when the winner of the Europa League gets a Champions league spot how far are we going to get anyway, would be out group stages anyway realistically.

I'm also willing to bet that those 6000 have never seen those teams and go to see games where they can actually get tickets at a reasonable price (reply to sydneys comment)

Did you have a bet? Fiver on 2-1 and another fiver on both teams to score. Bit of a sweetener.

And I disagree, this is the end of the world. I'd rather have stayed in, had a run to the semis and been relegated without a single other point in the league this season. We've been givenn a total free crack at Europe by a ridiculous ruile of qualifying as cup final losers. We'll probably never make europe again and it is just f**ing stupid to throw it away.

Well if a tenner makes the difference then why buy a season ticket or other Premier League (more expensive games).

I'd make sure that Europe was my first priority if money was tight.

Lol we're in Europe for the first time in 110 years - I think every hull person wants us in Europe more than a win or draw at villa
