To chip in on the Rafael thing, from what I've seen he has improved every season and is a solid choice at right back.

Seems your lost again graduate. If your looking for Swansea, travel in a westward direction on the M4, and you will pass a beautiful city called Cardiff. It used to be a bit of a scruffy dump, but its had a lot of new build and is a very impressive city. Now don't be tempted to visit this city, but keep going along the M4 for approx 40 miles. Look over you your left and you will see what Cardiff looked like before all the improvements. That is Swansea. Provided its daylight you should be OK, but don't go without a bodyguard at night

    Says someone who's never been.

Cardiff has a very nice city centre indeed but is otherwise a hole of gigantic proportions.

Conversely, Swansea has a **** hole city centre but the surrounding area can be utterly stunning and has a two mile beach right in the city itself stretching down to Mumbles and then Gower starts. I know which I prefer, which is why I live there. Well, sunny Mumbles anyway.

Wouldn't be seen dead in Swansea itself!!

(Rafael was gash last season, he certainly didn't improve. He wasn't alone in that though so if he gets fit I'm sure can be a decent right back)

Worked in both Chief, as well as most of the valleys, so it was from experience. And i know that St. Mellons and Ely are dodgy at night, but Cardiff's city centre is perhaps one of the best to feel safe in at night. Can't say the same thing about Merthyr though! I worked in total in Cardiff for about 8 weeks in the year, and loved it. Swansea was ok, just, but a lot of it was iffy. Speak as you find, and that exactly what I did. Pyle was good too by the way, but only had one scheme to inspect there

I lived in Swansea for 2 years in my younger days. I really loved it. The people were very friendly. I stayed in a place called llangyfelach not very far from the city centre. We used to go the mumbles and the gower. Really beautiful places. I only watched one match at the VP stadium. I think the club was in the third tier then.

Rafael is one of the best right backs around when im form. One bad season in a defence that was never the same and hes rubbish.

On top of that he never gives up. Selling him would be imsane.

    Anyway vidal, monday? Brilliant.

In agreement UIR. Pretty confident LVG will get Rafael back to his best. Selling him would be stupid

It's nice down here, I came to college and never left. It's got ****e hole areas of course but that applies to most towns and cities in Britain. All probably.

I certainly don't miss Manchester, I can walk out of my front door onto a beach in less than five minutes. There's nothing like that in Salford. The Irwell and ship canal don't count.

I used to work near Llangefelach, place called Penllergaer. Just down the road.

Anyway, is this Vidal bloke signing or what? Or does he fancy another year in Turin or is he doing to Real?

    Which?

Still upset we beat you? <laugh>

Swansea has changed dramatically since you were down this way last, you should visit the bay developments and surrounding Gower coastline. Trumps Manchester everyday of the week.

Not in the least VaslleyGraduate, we lost, end of. But as a Swansea supporter you seem to spend all awful lot of time on here, so I have to include you as a wum. Hence the comments about Swansea, but if you can't live with it, tough

Valley is one of the better visiting supporters.

He's a massive fleshpole but still one of the better opposition fans. <whistle>.

He's not a problem Gerrards Slippy boots, but he gets a bit a head of himself with his constant swipes. Hence the payback

    I don't live in Swansea <laugh>

Anyway, I've said, if Utd get the right players they'll be back at the top in no time.
After the MK Dons result, and as easy start against Swansea, the shoe is on the other foot atm.
