    Good post Billy <ok>

Looking forward to seeing sloth in action and some serious shake ups in midfield (and management!)

Warnock, White, Austin, Murphy, Norris, Tonge, Hunt, Morison, Poleon can all go for me, but lets be honest who would buy them. No we'll just have to suffer having to pay wages until their contracts run down. Warnock, Austin and Murphy may be ok as squad players but that's about it, and any other manager would not have been playing any of these lot

Apart from the knobheads we've had in charge, they were all favourites of Warnock, McDermott and now Hockaday <doh>

I remember last week I think it was Leeds60 who said we would see a lot of players moving out this week ..... not happening yet but it needs to start soon. I will be surprised if we get rid of anyone because the wages they're on cannot be matched at the clubs who would take them.

    Madness!

Cairns - promishing keeper, happy to be #3. Why get rid? Who would replace him & be happy as #3?
Thompson - when he's played, I've liked him. Full of promise. Why get rid? Should have been playing last night!
Dawson - utter madness. By all accounts, the most promising midfielder we've had for years! Why, why, why get rid?
Austin, Murphy, Norris - I think there's a case for them being squad players (unless their wages are too high)
Tonge - I agree with this one. He's lost even more pace, and the time has come!
White, Poleon, Morison, Hunt - why get rid? Cheaper to hire a hit man!

SELL: Austin Murphy Tonge Thompson White Norris Morsion Hunt

    LOAN OUT: Dawson Poleon Cairns

Cook is twice the players Dawson is and 2 years younger, Dawson needs playing time so needs loaning out if he is not going to play.

We don't need a #3 Keeper, if we get an injury to either of the other two we get a loan in.
Thompson (21) not going to break into the squad and Dawson rumours are he is promising but unless we see it soon why bother keeping him, he is 20 next week. In comparison Delph was doing the business at 18

Dawson lost a season through injury, I think a loan would help him a lot to get stronger

Now the window is shut, we can have a good look at our squad and finally smile for a change ... packed with young talent wanting to make their mark, at least we shouldn't be lacking desire this season ... more importantly, I expect us to play with a lot more energy which is key in the Championship, no more strolling about while the opposition casually run past our midfield ...

we have a good young keeper with capable back up, and Taylor is known for his ability to support the number one shirt in training and off the field ...

our defence looks miles better, and I expect big things from Bellusci and Cooper ... once Berardi settles he should be quality as well, and surely at some point Charlie Taylor will break into the starting eleven ...

players like Adryan and Montenegro look class, proper playmakers who play with flair and have superb technique ... Bianchi is very steady, and Sloth looks as if he will be a major contributor ... Cook, Dawson and Mowatt all possess the quality to be great players for us, and I'd be happy if they were rotated this season while they are developing physically ... the likes of Murphy and Austin are going to be under severe pressure now, and they will have to raise their games to new heights if they want to feature regularly ...

Sharp is already showing himself to be an excellent signing, and he's hungry to succeed at Leeds ... Antenucci looks like he knows what he's doing, and Doukara has genuine strength to upset defenders ... Ajose is going to be a work in progress it seems, and may well find Walters jumping ahead of him ...

all in all a very satisfying transfer window, we've offloaded a large chunk of the past, and the rebuilding has been positive ... add to this the exciting talent emerging from the Academy and we can start to believe again ... one big plus is that this season there will be no room for complacency because the competition for places will be fierce ... Warnock has already shown the effect of looking over your shoulder by the way he's put himself about this season, and his performances have been immensely better than anything he's ever produced in a White shirt ...

now all we need is the right man in the dugout and we'll be laughing ... Forza i Bianchi Possenti

A fine post billy. Agree with every word. Glad we held onto Austin, as our main enforcer. Cook and others will get game time on a regular basis, which in turn will push Austin to perform better. An all round good win.

All we need now is for a chunk of players - Hunt, Morison, Thompson, White - to go out on loan with a view to selling at the earliest opportunity. Also think it might be worth Dason, Cairns, and one or two others going out on loan to help their development.
