    Anyways apart from Roland completely missing my point!

    What is everyones opinion of our start. I think 3 games in it is showing where our problems lie but the new players need time to bed themselves in.

    A slim(ish) defeat to Man city
    A bore draw against Aston Villa and
    A 1-0 win (thanks to an own goal) and solid performance against the Gills...

    aint to bad a start but we can see where our problems lie at the moment and it does not appear to be a priority to be fixed. It is difficult for Pardew. He knows he needs a striker but unless the big man sanctions the money to spend he wont get one. Thus Pardew is going to be judged.
