He might still go. It might be a double-bluff by Harry, bigging Adel up again to try and get an offer before Monday.

He did it for blackpool in the PL!

I understand that's because he was still recovering. I'd be very surprised if they wanted to move on a £5mill player who hasn't had chance to shine because of his injuries. We're not overly stocked in the winger department either- it's only really hoillet and Phillips. And it looks like Hoillet favoured position is central now

Ok sounds good, but my it's my bad humour. I think Sky News are really talking about a politician in S.Yorkshire called Shaun Wright, who seems to be getting blamed for some very nasty sh*te in his area, Rotherham. I'm guessing our own SWP hasn't got a full time job!

Do you think he has it in for Hill as well?

Very true Grif. I forgot how well he played that season. And he was recovering over the summer. Also I wouldn't have him in the senior player bracket either. As for Dunne. I think he may find that that last injury he had combined with his age and it might be an injury too far to get back from. The injury may have gone but the conditioning to get back to total match sharpness could be beyond him. In attitude a true pro but as an example, Michael Owen Never truly recovered from he's knee injury at the world cup and it eventually saw him off.

I think Harry wants Hill's input in the dressing room and having mentioned he wants to go into coaching, I think you may find Clint is doing his badges and may take on a role with us in the future.

If i was Hill, I would be looking at the squad and thinking I am not going to get much game time here. I am guessing he has a season left in him and might be worth his while going to a club on loan. Then he can come back for a coaching role when he retires

Ok , so one positive from tonight was AT. Maybe , and at the moment a big maybe , he has realised that no other team is coming in for him this window and if he doesn't get his lazy arse in gear then he won't be playing much football . I reckon 'the lights have been switched on ' and he might just surprise us all , but don't hold me to that . I have a feeling his attitude will change ( possibly Hoddles influence ) and the bigger danger will be when he starts to believe his own publicity again once he starts making headlines . Of all the different characters in the game , someone of AT nature hates to be not playing every week , football is the only thing he knows . Well , let's just see , I could be talking utter b*ll*cks .
Think some times we underestimate the scale of the problem that HR had to undertake in rooting out all the bad apples and has still a few more to go . The biggest boil on the arse for me , and stating the bleeding obvious here , is SWP . Lance that boil and we can all sit comfortably again , maybe not that simple I know .
Also we now know , if we didn't already , that none of the starting eleven are fit to pull on a 1st team shirt except maybe AT , squad players at best . So maybe that's another positive and HR now knows what he's working with . However , he should have had this all sorted out in pre season but then again there's nothing like competitive games in which to get a true picture . As for Saturday , I'm not confident we will get anything even then but pretty sure things will change for the better sooner rather than later .
Ok, ready to be shot down in flames !!

I agree with you mate and we are most definately a "Work in Progress" ATM.
Ill be happy with a draw on Sat just to show we can compete in this league against the oppo. Wont be supprised if we lose though.
It seems that we are a bit behind with our system, squad etc and yes, HR has to take the blame for that. But like i said, i believe we wil get it right sooner rather than later.
I guess no-one knows whts going on in the background, just a case of having to have some faith in our management team.

Im done with AT. he's clearly got the ability to play in any team, anywhere (that has never been in doubt) just not got the intelligence to work out why he's not geting picked every week for anyone.

I'm giving HR and Hod the legendary "Stans 12 game rule" before i make any decisions on them. I watched the Spurs game last night & they were miles beter than us & I wouldnt be suprised if they are up near the top come the end of season. We wont be the only team to get spanked at WHL this year.

So lets get behind the team for the next 10 games and give them our support. If after that time we dont see change or progress, then i guess, questions need to be asked. Its not to late then..remeber Crystal Palace?

Come HR & Co. You have everything you've asked for, and are in one of the top leagues in Europe with Internationals & cash at your disposal. Show us what you can do boys and give us fans and supporters something to believe in again....Please <ok>

I agree that we need to see at least ten games but I am slightly surprised at HR comments. Publicly slating the players when they have been chucked together with no chance of cohesion or team structure to face a highly motivated, Settled and organised unit. Set up for failure. HR is the boss and he can think and act as he see's fit behind closed doors but why publicly slate players?

It's been a long day and honesty won't keep us up. He is a major weakness at PL level and we'll suffer when he plays...

Very unfair on Phillips. He is being played out of position. He's a right winger. He's not a striker or an attacking centre mid

Or maybe its Harry's lights that have been switched on. We cant score goals and Adel creates and scores goals!!!!! Not rocket science!! Although it is far more convenient to take Harry’s word for it because he definitely never tells lies to suit himself?!?!! Except for last Sunday when he said he didn’t know where the Spurs fans sat at Spurs or when he told a court he cant read or write etc etc

This is like Xmas. Adel’s coming back in and SWP on is way out. Surely too good to be true!!

Personally I think its the players fitness that's the issue, ok Harry has introduced a new system which takes time to bed down. For me it has to be the way pre-season has gone. Playing low level league teams (I have nothing against them), isn't the way to prepare for a dogfight of a season. Whilst other teams in the league were playing better opposition in their preparation for the season. The game against PAOK showed up how much work was needed with the new system and player fitness.

Don't know who is to blame for the pre-season fixtures, but surely Harry would have had an input in this. I have nothing against Harry just think we could have planned the pre season with 2-3 games against better opposition. Instead our first two games the players are finding their way back to fitness. I put the Tottenham game down as a blip, and had Austin scored his pen and we had a point on the table I'm sure we wouldn't be as upset as we are now.

But then again this is QPR ....going back to watch that OBZ goal again :)
It's gonna be a rollacoaster of a ride.

Hill has just signed a year extension it won't be him, Philips and Ale are clearly in his plans so not them either.

If it was Ale, I'd have to move myself firmly into the Harry doesn't know what his doing section of the crowd.

I'm with Rajman on this......

Tottenham was not good, Burton did not matter...and if Charlie had scored (but I must admit, seasons turn on ifs like that).

The season starts on Saturday...we do need something (and a good performance on Saturday)

All will seem rosier if we win (draw)....things will admittedly look bleaker if we lose
