Remember being at Stoke when we were in the PL under Colin - we won 3 - 2. We scored great goals with the Iceman and Young, yes Young!, scoring & featuring prminently. Barton, Ale & Traore played & were good that day too as I recall. Adel wasn't playing. After that win we were 9th, and we were well into November!. Colin did a lot more when we were in the PL than build a team around Adel, he was certainly the best Manager we have had for me for many years, and was sacked way to early. Palace are probably lucky to get him back, but he's getting on a bit now, and I doubt that he is one for the future
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28951487 Two-year contract. Personally, I wish him well except on the occasions that Palace face QPR or they're in a game where the result matters to the Rs.
Welcome back Sir Neil but sad to see us on opposite sides. Good, luck for 36 games (except I don't really mean that since we need them to occupy one relegation spot!)
Couldn't agree more. Warnock was a legend for us. I'd take a "one man" team allegedly like his over the abortion of a game that was our Spurs performance.
I too wish him all the best (Uber's terms and conditions applying ,obviously) As Oslo says, Neil was sacked far too early IMO. It'll be interesting to be able to finally answer the question about wether or not he's a good enough manager for the prem.
I never said that Stroller. Please dont put words into my post. Harry has his own excuses for what he does. COLIN is NEVER wrong...! Anyone got thier reply from Colins e-mail yet.....it must be coming because unlike Harry, he would never lie would he
Your the one with blinkers Queens AT was never shown up IMO Scored some class premiership goals and some of the best passes ever made in the league He then went on to play for Milan and played beautiful football What planet are you on He remains one of the best talents in football
Well for me I'm very happy for Warnock to get another chance in the prem. Things most likely would have been different for us had our club not been up for sale during an important transfer window after our promotion. This could come back to haunt us if Palace stay up and we go down... It's clear to see there is a large differing of opinions here on Colin as some call him, for me I think he played a massive part in plugging the holes in a sinking ship.
Good luck Neil, the mods may relieve you of your ban shortly if you stop talking about Eastbourne pier.
