We're always going to need squad players and he's one that works hard and who wants to be here. I'm happy with him as part of our squad.
If we sell joe allen to man utd we will regret it. He's better than anyone they already have. Then again so is Conor Coady
He played very well against City last season though and with the other option being Lucas or an untested Can I thought it was the right move and I also though Allen was pretty good in the first half but he certainly should have been hooked earlier.
We've apparently agreed a deal with Napoli over Lucas. If we lose him and Allen we'd be a little short. Get in a quality defensive midfielder and I'd let Allen go. (not that Allen is one)
Allen has just had two solid games and does a very important role for us. Might aswell give them Sakho and Enrique if you look at it this way. Allen has been better than Coutinho and Gerrard in our two games so far.
Why improve the mancs midfield? If they want him they can pay more than they did for that donkey Fellaini #lol
agree about him in front of goal but he really helps us keep the tempo up (cerainly more than lucas) and would be a loss to our squad.
