I just disagree with both these statements. If by reliable you mean "Vic gave the ball away a couple of times" then yeah, but we were a better team with Vic in it. Vic hasn't 'settled', he was settled and then picked up a broken foot.
Vic has been a lot better already this season. The suicide passes have gone and he seems much more comfortable in posession. He's even started playing forward balls. Cork is the perfect antidote though. Games like last night we don't need a player like Vic.
With every miss Pelle had the 'Graziano' song got louder and louder. It really payed off in the end, and shows what backing the team even when they aren't doing their best (instead of sarcastic cheers)can really do.
Really hope we start with Wanyama and Cork. Wayama for the obvious reasons. Need cork to link defence and attack so we aren't restricted to playing those 50 yard passes to pelle (second half last night)
Not sure if already posted but here are the goals from last night. youtu.be/tqtjrmANlls youtu.be/rbISpaXiIwI Or maybe not! not sure why that didn't work.
VG question. You would have to play him instead of Davis not Morgan and I'm not sure that works. Cue the can we play all 3 together debate.
I think ---------Wanyama------------ ------Cork------Morgan------ JWP------------------Tadic -----------Pelle---------------- Would work in away games? Davis is a good utility to have on the bench if we need that extra bit of passing accuracy. Anyway we've had this debate endlessly, but it's better than being in a position where we have no cover for CM.
Games we need extra defence then its Big Vic, games we need some help pushing on its Supper Jack Cork. If Morgan gets injured then the problem is solved. Its a shame they aint identical twins then we could swap them about in games as needed.
