After drinking with some of the Lokeren fans last week I've told them I'll show them the Hull pubs in return this week. Was a great idea at the time but now I can't think where the best place to take them will be! Was thinking princess ave as it's easy to walk over to the stadium or the pubs in old town, but does anyone have any good suggestions? After all the stuff they put on I don't want them stuck in a pub with no atmosphere as I've chosen the wrong one! Thanks
Prinny Ave is best logistically I reckon, and good pubs. I prefer old town, but it's not quite as convenient. Wish I wasn't working so I could indulge in a few.
Their fan club is supposed to be meeting in Admiral of the Humber, was on RH this morning, you could contact them to confirm.
Take them to Larkins Bar on Newland, plenty of Euro beers and lots of Belgian Ales , sleepers too across the road
you don't think they'd want to try some ENGLISH bevvies? and shouldn't you have your glass to the snooker club door?
Tek em in Cod and then across road to get brassed off in elegance, then back to Cod Brownies Parkers etc. Keep it real.
Plenty of Craft Ales in Larkins also from North Yorks and the Wolds Really cant think they would want to be drinking Fosters and Carlsberg piss
this is **** ! why when they come to our City are they forced into Fads !!! theres loads of great pubs in the city centre , lots of chance for a wander through old town , yet the police want to corral them into some shonky boozer.
these Belgians wont be happy drinking most of that muck we sell - hope they get to taste our real ales
