In my opinion you should stick with this sort of formation - --------------RVP---------------- -------Rooney------Mata--------- Di Maria---Fellaini--Carrick-----Valencia -------Jones---Smalling--Rojo------ ------------De Gea----------------- United need, really, to have two pacey, intelligent CB's how can play as the outside CB's and have Jones or Smalling in the middle. Di Maria is hard working and decent defensively, so he could be perfect as a wing back, and can play either side. You also need proper CM's. I'd go for Vidal, personally, and oh boy you seriously could have used Pogba right now....
