That's the prediction of SKP. If I am being honest, I would say I can see another season of struggle for Sunderland this campaign. I have said the same about two of my other former clubs in Aston Villa and West Brom. I sincerely hope this is not the case as I have a huge soft spot for Sunderland and probably the most out of my former clubs and for good reason. That said, with my selfish head on, these three teams struggling would mean my current employers, Leicester, have a good chance of staying in the division. But on the evidence so far and the signings Sunderland have made, I can see it sadly being a long old season for the club. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/kevin-phillips-sorry-see-season-7672258? mind he also says. You can never say never in football and who knows one day I may even get to manage Sunderland!
I also disagree, liking the look of our squad already, few more additions and we'll be pretty well set
Its a tough league, but I think with the current stability at the top, we can look forward to a bright future.
Anything can happen but I think you'll be in for a boring season this season. Something you have probably wanted for a while
I'd hate to have him as manager even though Kevin Philips Sunderland manager sounds romantic usually good footballers make poor managers and bad footballers make good managers. For example ferguson was a crap footballer.
when you look at some of the other teams in the league i dont know how he is coming out with this. palace, and qpr both look ****, burnley and leicester dont look much better and you still have villa, west brom and the scum not looking particulary good. if we can get a few key signings i think we will have a good squad and be well clear of relagation this season
Did he watch either of the games? I think he's quite a good tv critic when the game's in front of him but I'm not sure the start to his career with the pen has got off to a good start. Having said that, it's just an opinion, not analysis.
