Strange how Joel Ekstrand is sent off and has a three match ban for something the referee and linesman did not see but reacted to the crowd and Sam Byram was sent off for something the referee didn't see but the linesman now thinks he saw and Leeds United are upset and wish to appeal.
Manuel Almunia recently had a medical at Cagliari in Italy but he failed it and has been diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy which can lead to cardiac arrest at any moment. However, it is not life threatening if he manages it well but that will likely put an end to his playing career. This is what the Cagliari owner had to say
Strange that it hadn't been picked up previously or is this something that develops? A real shame and hope he goes on to a long and happy rest of life...
I think the message here is, if you wish to get on go to Watford. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._to_reignite_international_career_at_Watford/
Ranegie out indeed, but fair play, sounds like he wants to play football. Oh Hollowhead, the irony! Almunia, what a shame for him, I hope he can live with it, to retire early in that manner must be a shock. Just as well Gomez came in really.
almunia has been a great player for every club he has played for , he has finished a few years early but not many and he should be set up for life .
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...hopes__Vydra_of_two_years_ago_can_come_back_/ He hasn't looked the same player we witnessed two years ago yet. Hope he does get it back after all the hype about his return. He certainly needs a better service than he has received.
This is key before we judge too harshly, but the body language didn't look great on Tuesday. Maybe there is a link there?
Who was it who said on here that Vydra was a confidence player? Well, he must be at a low to be fair. I wasn't sure when he came back, hope he proves me wrong.
Glad to see that someone at the club has spoken out about Hollowhead and exposed just how Hollow his Head really is. From News Now: WATFORD'S chief scout has criticised Ian Holloway after the Millwall boss signed striker Mathias Ranegie on loan. During his time as Crystal Palace manager, Holloway was outspoken in his disapproval of the Hornets' use of the loan system. He said that by borrowing players from their sister clubs, Granada and Udinese, Watford were exploiting a "ludicrous" loophole in transfer regulations. Ranegie joined the Lions yesterday on a short-term deal that runs until January. But scout Filippo Giraldi tweeted: "How funny is life someone complain about your policy and then after 12 months come back to you, using what they supposed destroyed football." The Hertfordshire club's head of recuirmtnet added: "Good luck to Mathias Ranegie on his loan spell @MillwallFC. Come back stronger big man we wait for you!"
Shame to lose a talented youngster but it seems the situation was out of our hands so to speak. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/140901-academy-tom-rosenthal-leaves-watford-1892364.aspx
