Goal has confirmed that the deal was one regarding with Angel Di Maria and Manchester United. http://www.goal.com/en-my/news/3956...anchester-united-reach-agreement-for-di-maria
And of course the "We almost scored the most goals" shield and the "Our player won the golden boot" cup
I thought Liverpool won the league with about 5 games to go ? Are you telling me they didn't actually win it ?
Daley Blind agent: "At this moment, #MUFC have not been in touch with me or Ajax and I’m not sitting here waiting for the call." Ian Herbert of the independent has said on twitter that we are not in for De Jong but are definately in for Vidal but we have major doubts over his knee.
They didn't win that one last season mate, as Brent binned his 180 page 'philosophy' when Me La wasn't having it, and went to "spoon it over the top for the quick lads Stevie"
Don't want Blind, he's ****. Would rather have De Jong to tie us over then go for Strootman once hes fit
Di Maria is a good player, but the fee were paying seems to be very inflated. I think PSG sniffing around him is what has bumped the price up to ridiculous levels. RM are obviously aware that PSG paid 50 million for Luiz so they just bumped the price up when they knew they where interested. Having said that, he should be a great addition to our side. We don't have any quality players with pace in the side. The likes of Welbeck, Valencia and Young are fast but they are ****e footballers. Where as Di Maria has the skill and the speed so he is just what our attack is lacking. I wonder though where he is going to fit in, surely a change of formation is in order as our new formation doesn't really suit a winger like Di Maria. Granted he can play centrally, but we already have quality number 10s so I don't see a reason to play him as a number 10, as it would mean Mata or Rooney on the bench.
Fair enough. What's his passing like: In Argentina's dramatic second-round World cup meeting with Switzerland, Di Maria gave the ball away 51 times and recorded a pass completion rate of 63%
By at least £10m-£15m. Best player available by miles. Honestly believe he could be the catalyst and LVG will rebuild around him. United had to go for him and had to pay high fees and no doubt higher wages. Otherwise we would be ranked alongside the RS and clubs like that.
No questioning his ability, and if Rodriguez is £63m then Di Maria is easily worth what United will be paying. I just don't see why United are willing to spend that much money on a winger/AM when they desperately need a top CB.
