Very negative, hoping to hit on the break. No clue what to do with the ball

Makes his players look far worse than they are.

Everything people slate pardew for, just with better players.

Wouldn't be too upset if he came to us and won the league like. Not that that would EVER happen

Impossible to tell with anyone really. Agree that Fat Mike creates difficult conditions for whoever comes in to manage our club.

Interesting that Man City are comfortably beating last season's second placed team. Puts some perspective on our opening day result, which got some beel mileage among the usual suspects.

Pelgrini isn't as good as the likes of Wenger and Rodgers, but his tactics have provided a 3-0 win. His side are defensively solid, keeping two clean sheets now, and winning quite comfortably.

Players don't do all the work. Look at United. Rooney and RVP up front, and both look useless at the moment. They barely got a touch vs Sunderland because of the managers **** tactics.

It's a bit easier to be a tactical mastermind when you have some of the best players in the world kicking around in your squad.

Pelligrini is an old **** as well....or at least Pardew thinks so.

Probably the only thing Pardew and I see eye to eye on !

It depends on your squad. If you're the chairman of a group of multi-millionaire talented players who are more than aware of their talent and feel they should be in the starting 11 then Pelligrini has a proven capability of managing that group whereas Pardew does not. In contrast, if you're the chairman of a group of average individuals and you need someone to manage them so that they seriously over-achieve then Pardew is proven at that (Reading, West Ham and Southampton) in a way that Pelligrini isn't (as far as I am aware he's only ever had top jobs in South America and Spain).

Pardew couldn't manage a shopping trip to Asda. He'd insist on defensive aisle shopping, sitting back and waiting for a chance to break tepidly. Trouble is, his trolley control is probably a bit like his mouth - ****.

I dunno. that's why I predicated it with "as far as I am aware".

Ok, well I'd consider finishing in the Champs League places (2nd) with Villareal and getting to a CL semi-final similar to doing the same thing in England with someone like Hull.

A quick look on Google tells me that they finished 3rd not 2nd to get the CL spot. Also, they were an established LA Liga team (had been a la Liga team for a good 5-6 years) unlike Hull who are very much a yo-yo team between the PL and championship. He may have over-achieved at Villarreal but to say they were akin to Hull is not true.
