True. But the video probably wouldn't have got past the censors for general consumption if it showed what he really would have been like. ;p
Seen it before too, very funny I was a keeper and I can say the doube save from Shev was magical, not something you can think about doing, it just happens, instinctive arm out but what impressed me is the strenght in the arm to keep the second attempt out. Poor auld shev couldn't believe it and I think that set him up nicely for the penalty miss best comeback ever! to come back from 3 down, we've done that a few times, a fair few, but against an impressive AC Milan in the final of the CL. As for Owen, we'd not have goten there is he stayed with us and he never earned a trophy or medal since regardless of what he picked up at madrid or united. Owen is a true glory hunter if you ask me
It was definitely that double save from Dudek on Shevchenko that messed up Shevchenkos head. There could also be another reason, look at it closely,Jerzy just before Shevchenko took the kick, looked him straight between the eyes and went to hand him the ball..and then dropped it.I'm 100% convinced that Jerzy messed up Shevchenkos head.He possibly should never have taken that penalty. It possibly didn't matter as Stevie was the final penalty taker and if he had scored we would have won anyway regardless if Shevchenko scored or not.But it was sweet however that Jerzy saved from Shevchenko.
There was always something different about Owen, even when he was with us.When he was with us,did you ever see him run to the KOP and celebrate with the fans? In some ways he's like Fernando Torres in that he plays for himself and not for a team.He joined United for a pay packet. He's no affection for them, its all about him,United fans have even realised this, they still haven't endeared to him.He was different to Robbie Fowler,Macca,Carra and Stevie Gerrard, they all played for the team and the fans. Robbie joined clubs Man United fans hate. The 4 finger salute he pulled on the Stretford End whilst playing for City will never be forgotten by Liverpool fans.He also did a the '''Mourinho celebration'' in front of the Stretford end too after scoring. You know the one when Mourinho ran down the touch-line at Old Trafford after Porto scored the winner in 2004 to knock them out.Robbie copied it in front of the Stretford End.He may have been playing for City, but his loyalty was to us.He may have been a boyhood Evertonian but he taunted them on occasions too.
