http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/england-plot-nathaniel-clyne-call-4105266 Well deserved, though he has had a mixed start to this season. Glen Johnson limped off today. Kyle Walker & Jon Flannigan are both injured so if he doesn't get selected he never will
Hope he doesn't get called up as I will then have to watch an England game. The press seem to think it's only a matter of time until Rooney is named captain and I have vowed not to watch them if that ludicrous decision was made.
Oh god not again .... After what's happened, I really don't want our players getting England callups ...
Not good news as Liverpool will see what a good RB he is and come after him in January. I think Chambers will be in the squad because he has become a brilliant player since joining Arsenhole but will be interesting to see where he will play as England don't have a proper DM and that's where he generally plays for the U19s.
The form of Smalling & Jones and the way their confidence is just shot at United makes it pretty difficult to argue against Chambers being in the squad.
I put this potential scenario in another thread: Forster Clyne Chambers ? Shaw Oxlade-Chamberlain Walcott Lallana ? Lambert Rodriguez I also had Cork in my original post, for which I got much derided. Maybe you could add Ward-Prowse to that list as we all know that the national press actually pick the team and he is a current favourite.

Apparently only 15,000 tickets have been sold for the game. At least we may be able to hear the tapping up over the crowd.
Has he? I have an image in my head of Lukaku hurdling him before setting up another soft Everton goal.
I thought Chambers was doing well, but have seen him criticised. Mind you, he is 19 and playing out of position, so I think he is doing okay.
Clyne should have been called up ages ago. Hopefully gets a chance now. However, it could bite us on the backside as others have said.
Personally I will be very glad to see Clyne recognised as the best English RB. It was shameful that the likes of Johnson and Walker were selected ahead of him for the World Cup and he now has a chance to claim the spot for his own. I know there is a danger of his being tapped up for Liverpool by Roy (I could have been better than Paisley) Hodgson but I am one of those who believes that the new board have finished with the mass sales, for this season at least. Let the lad have his chance, and join JayRod and JWP in the Euro '16 squad.
