iirc one or more of the boruc fan club (make your own decisions on the reliability of that source) said artur was playing through injury with heavy strapping because we didn't have a viable back up. he might not have been out injured but he might have been playing when he shouldn't have been. of course we still have no viable back up but maybe forster is in better general health.
Yes, if that is the case then at least one of Townsend, Lennon or any the four guys I mentioned yesterday (Holtby, Dembele, Sandro and Paulinho) will surely be off over the coming days. Not just because of competition for places, but also Spurs must already be very close (if not already over) to the maximum number of non-home grown players. (And selling Dawson to Hull wont help that in any way).
Had to share this re Man Ure: Danny Baker tweeted: United are like going to see a famous band who have a great back catalogue and reputation but now have only one original member left. Eerily aimless show from Man U. It's like Alex Ferguson took the power charger with him when he left and now they're down to 8% and falling. I sent the above to a mate and he replied that he had today read the following: United have spent the most money on players in 2014 in the whole of Europe, £173.2m. More than Barcelona, Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool and they still have a crap team. I've waited a long time for Man Ure's fall from grace and I am enjoying every minute of it!
Liverpool fans excitement over Mario Balotelli will soon come crashing down when they start to remember the Mario Balotelli that left Manchester city 2 years ago......he was utter toilet.
Sky Saying betting on Samuel Eto'o to Everton has been suspended. Am I the only one surprised that Everton would go for this type of signing? Wages won't be cheap. Should get a few goals though.
