Honestly think Pardew is that bitter he will not play HBA. It's clearly personal.

There's been more than one comment saying he looked heavy and was blowing after an hour. And this is Reading's kids, don't forget. It's not like anyone expects Arma, who hit a hat-trick, to play on Tuesday either.

Part of me just thinks the sooner HBA goes the better, stop the circus.

Regardless of wether or not Pardew will pick him, when was the last time any of you can recall a professional footballer playing two games in two days?

Pardews a cock he's going to let him go no way he's going to let him off
Pardew will be gone by the end of the season so I hope Hatem says just to piss him off

Don't think he's even in the squad for Gillingham.

Personally, I think Pardew gets a bit too much stick for the way he's handled HBA. HBA has had a history of falling out with management and, IMO, is nothing more than a promising player who's failed to reach his potential. He's had the occasional game where he's been unplayable - always against low end PL teams - and has a wonder goal in him but has done it nowhere near enough to justify the praise he gets. As someone said, the sooner he goes the better.

Not only has he always done this with management, he has always managed to fool many 'fans' into thinking he's somehow the victim.

Disagree. I couldn't give a monkeys chuff if Pardew and ben Arfa hate eachother, he's one of our better options in midfield and shouldn't be ignored because of people's egos.

Hatem wants to play. Pardew doesn't want him to play. Make no mistake Pardew is costing us money.

I'd love to see him play. Considering we'll be playing a weakened team anyway give him the second 45 to try make an impact so he can give it his all.

Make no mistake he's an excellent player who's been frozen out, we could do with the options.

Agree, too good of a player to be ignored.

Love the name by the way. <ok>

Supposed to be two professionals - If Pardew is refusing to play him for personal reasons then he needs to cut out the egotistical crap and play him.
If he's refusing to play him for footballing reasons, i.e. because of HBA's weight or attitude then fair enough. Surely though if his attitude was the issue he would have refused to play for the reserves? Or am I missing something?

    Cheers :)

I think it's been a bit of both to be honest. The second part should have been partially answered with the good performance in the reserves and deserves a chance to make amends. Can only try

The first part, well Pardew can be stubborn but if Benny keeps playing well and scoring he'll have to stand down at some point, even if it's just to raise the valuation a bit to try put a sale through (although I hope he stays).
