all these rate the player threads have got me thinking about PVM. I really do think this guy has talent. Looking at his background, he could potentially do well next year. Just not sure why warnock didn't give him more of a run out last season maybe he needed a bit of bulking up for the english game (like gamst pedersen)
Bit harsh eddie. Don't think it's fair to judge him on a couple of sub appearances. Fair enough, if he doesn't set the prem alight I'm happy to eat my words
Personally he's one of my favourite players purely down to the fact he had a 40 yard free kick clatter against the bar against Blackburn. It may seem soft but I can't resist a good left foot.
Alright Turbo. Are you V M's mate? Just I remember a guy on here once and the old 606 talking him up a lot. Are you the same chap as I can't remember what his name was? If I remember correctly, the bloke follows the team V M used to play for in Norway.
arite hoopster. no. i can confirm that i have no norwegian mates, do not know anyone from norway, and have never been to norway. just think from reading about this guy and seeing glimpses of him, that he has a lot of potential. i know everyone's banging on about signings, but i think there is still some unearthed talent within the squad.
PVM is a strange one for me. Just remember him coming on a couple of times as sub and looked well off the pace, like the pelican against WBA the season before ! Will be interesting to see what a proper preseason does for him. here's hoping we have a diamond in our camp but i won't hold my breath from what i've seen.
Could go either way. I think the concensus was (last time this was raised) that he had some talent, but the Norwegian League was a far cry from the pace of the Chapionship and he'd take time to adjust. Will be interesting to see if the past 6 months have given him that time.
Didn't he come on forwhen Ali got injured in injury time (Derby I think?) just to take a free-kick outside the box. No pressure there then, lol... He fluffed it of course. Not seen enough of him tbh, but I'll trust Warnock on this one, if he stays and plays im sure he's good enough, if he loans him out then so be it.
Agree with Watford. He's got a bit of international experience too... Moen's lack of bench opportunities last year though, does suggest he was worse than Hulse on the training ground.
My gut feeling says this guy has bundles of talent but he just didn't fit into our system last year coupled with the fact NW is a creature of habit and doesnât like to meddle with a winning formula, something I believe NW needs to do more often in the prem. Also agree what has already been said that he simply has had literally no playing time so he must also be low confidence which was obvious by his body language while warming the bench. Given the chance I reckon he could become a revelation this term.
Think we need to buy a pneumatic drill and pickaxe, cos thats a lot of digging we're gonna be doing if they don't sign some PL quality players!
